Learning Objectives:

• The training is coach-specific in nature
  This session is designed exclusively for professional coaches and leaders. It moves beyond generic active listening concepts, a model developed within and for the coaching profession. The exercises, language, and case studies are tailored to the coach-client dynamic, focusing on the coach's internal stance and how to consciously modulate it to serve the client's process.

• The training is related to the Core Competencies, 
  This training directly enhances ICF Core Competency 5: Listens Actively. It provides a sophisticated, granular model for what "listening actively" entails, breaking it into three distinct modalities. It also strengthens Competency 6: Evokes Insight, as listening from the correct center enables more powerful questioning, and Competency 8.1: Embodies a Coaching Mindset, by developing the coach's self-awareness and intentionality in how they show up to listen.

• The training will help the coach to further develop their skills when working with clients.
  Coaches will leave with a practical "listening diagnostic" tool. They will be able to:

  • Identify in real-time whether a client is speaking from a place of logic (Head), emotion (Heart), or core intuition/values (Gut).
  • Choose to consciously align their own listening to the client's center to build deeper rapport and understanding, or to strategically listen from a different center to provoke new perspective.
  • Intervene more effectively by formulating reflections and questions that arise from this trifocal awareness, leading to deeper client insights, breakthroughs, and sustainable action. This elevates their skill from simply hearing words to facilitating transformative shifts.
